Capturing Enrapturing Blooms

One thing I wanted to make sure I support more of this year is our local artists. My walls are pretty full right now so I wanted to do something a little different.

Art comes in all forms, and what’s better than some of nature’s most beautiful works? I used to detest cut flowers, the thought of something so beautiful being plucked just to die used to horrify me. But as I became a gardener myself, I’ve grown to appreciative of the art of pruning and even more so of the joy a vase of flowers can bring to any room. Plus, like all things, the flowers are eventually going to die whether they’re in a garden or in a vase.

My friend KrisJohna Kane, is owner of Kane Floral Design here in Oklahoma City the woman is a true visionary. She can take these already insanely gorgeous flowers and arrange them into the most spectacular pieces. True centerpieces, her work will instantly light up any room – and make it smell incredible.
