It’s not easy being the child of a photographer. Kai has been in front of my lens her entire life. She’s gone through phases of loving the camera, hating it, and onto tolerating it. Of course there’s the occasional “dear god mom, not right now,” but she’s been an wonderful model for me for fourteen years.
All those years of tip toeing around camera gear and watching me work really paid off; she’s become an incredible assistant and an awesome photographer. She even took my latest personal branding portrait! Kai a lifesaver on shoots, wrangling kids and making them giggle. Trust me, Kai is a kid magnet, they LOVE her!
When she’s not focused on her studies or helping me make our clients look amazing, she can be found drawing, hanging out with her friends, cat or working on her next cosplay.
